Composition 9/11 Discussion and Post Shoot Reflection

 Lines
The lines of the tower is vertical to the person falling, drawing attention to the person.
Simplicity
A person is falling in the picture with not much of a background other than the lines of the building. The picture is simple, yet shows a the desperation people had during 9/11.
Rule of Thirds
The towers match up the the invisible lines called the rule of thirds. This draws attention to the towers.
Balance
This picture shows balance because the falling debris doesn't leave much empty space.
Framing
This photo is framed in a way to show the part of the building that is collapsing which shows lots of depth to the image.
Avoiding Mergers
The people in the photo don't merge together to make the image look weird or distracting.

Symmetry and Patterns (repetition)

The towers are symmetrical to each other. The big difference is the explosion on the left tower.
 Viewpoint
The photo is from a low angle. This shows how tall the buildings are.
On the RunDepth
This image has a lot of depth because there are people in the foreground  with buildings and smoke in the background.
Trees of Leather
Cropping
The image is cropped to bring attention to the shoes on the tree.
